Still reading Wicked, stuck in the Vinkus and I think part of the problem is that the book felt like it was building and building and then...not so much. Plus I got distracted by two giant downloads actually finishing one after the other (Princess Tutu and CSI Season 1).
Watched the end of Tutu and predictably I cried.
Also, what other show would leave you thinking "Oh, that brave little duck!" ?
It compares nicely to Utena, I think, both in the ending and some of the big thematic stuff (not to mention some of the weird dreamscape wtf? stuff), but more obviously for kids in that things are pretty much spelled out.
