Poptastic!

I laughed. I cried. I made pathetic whimpering noises.
So I've just seen Queer as Folk, Series 2 and it's brilliant. Sure the American version can't be anywhere as good. Well. I have seen one episode and it was okay. But this is the best. Oh, they're better than I thought.
Probably going to have to get in one of my obsessions now. Sigh. The DVD is $30, I've just checked at Amazon. $30! Oy. Guess I have a little birthday money left. I'm so sad.
I'd only read fanfic for it before. And I have to say that only three authors really live up to the real thing (four if you're pining for a little Nathan/Christian fix).

While I'm going on and on about gay films I might as well also put in a word for "I think I do". Not nearly as good as Queer as Folk, but the supposedly straight friend, Brendan, is darling and he makes the movie. Hmm. That gives this entry a whole unrequited gay love theme. Cool.
