Well. I've got a new monitor. So that's good.

1 1/2 weeks of school left. That's bad. Too much to do. Meh.

Totally dinking along on this paper. Monday night I just wiped the first one out. Bam. But this one is just barely tottering along. Film papers, so it should be easy, right? It did help that the first one was a more linear topic, how the characters worked through stuff and so on. This one is just enough less so that I don't really have any idea where I'm going, except for a good quote to use as the last paragraph header.
This is the same problem I have with writing too. No shortage of ideas, but getting the words out is often like pulling teeth. Painful and then what've you got to show for it? No teeth.

I think I'm coming down with some weird psychosomatic illness. Or allergies. 'Cause my throat is all weird and swollen, like when I had mono. Art-itis, 'cause I still have so much to do and I'm not working on it tonight. La la la.
This quarter would actually have been really good without art, which is kind of fucked because I actually really like drawing. But the teacher kept playing irritating music and now with so much due at the end, I'm not really happy with it. I hate it when art teachers want to play fast peppy music, with the idea that it will somehow inspire the students. I want music that is in the background. Or no music at all. Even were I not Iowa bound, I wouldn't take drawing from him again. It's not just the music, he was an okay teacher, but it's weird to have a teacher who doesn't believe exactly in realistic work teaching a figure drawing class.
And eh. History was so good, teachers so cool, that all else paled in comparison. And film too. Psych... is a good class, I'm just sick to death of the bi-weekly papers.
A week from Thursday I will be done. Once grades come out I will be free. For at least a month.
