Wow. If the movie really has that look, that feel, that energy, it might be a whole new step in comic book movies. I think some of them are just about starting to hit the right place for pacing, or character mythology, but there hasn't been one yet (to my mind) that really took on the art and this being a Frank Miller thing engaging with the art is a must.
ETA: The one image thats a must for me, that will probably have a lot to do with how sucessful the translation is for me is well, Nancy's rope dance. Not really for the cheesecake (though it is an amazingly erotic? image), but for the sheer iconic nature of its black and white. If that can somehow be translated to film...I will be wowed.
