Wow. If the movie really has that look, that feel, that energy, it might be a whole new step in comic book movies. I think some of them are just about starting to hit the right place for pacing, or character mythology, but there hasn't been one yet (to my mind) that really took on the art and this being a Frank Miller thing engaging with the art is a must.

ETA: The one image thats a must for me, that will probably have a lot to do with how sucessful the translation is for me is well, Nancy's rope dance. Not really for the cheesecake (though it is an amazingly erotic? image), but for the sheer iconic nature of its black and white. If that can somehow be translated to film...I will be wowed.

I did indeed!
And it was, I dunno, weird? Like not quite Alias feeling, but maybe thats just because I didn't see that much of 3. The whole tone, the look, the pacing or whatever, after the beginning time jump thing (well thats not a spoiler because they always bloody well do that ;)) just seemed strange to me.
And I dunno how I feel about the plot points yet, but I'll def. watch again next week (I did miss about 30 min because I wandered off all distracted like which I seem to be doing a lot lately, I think it was all that enforced airplane sitting ;)).

Oh, spoil me. ;) But that's good! And I don't know. >.< Cuz Kazaa here is frelling slow here and I daren't use bit torrent cuz they can only use so much bandwidth a month and bit torrent uploads as well as downloads. Yargh. I'll see what I can do.
