I am never *ever* going swimming again.

Unless I build the pool myself. So I know where all the drains are and where the water really comes from.

It will never be deeper than 5 feet and there will be ladders to climb out *everywhere*.

Bright lights will illuminate every corner at all hours of the day.

Some kind of nice geometric pattern will cover the floor, so it will be easy to tell what *isn't* a part of the pool.

Good gravy. What happened? This sounds nightmarish.

It has less to do with events and more to do with an intense (and irrational, thus - phobia, first year psych. is dangerous) fear of sharks. Which I reminded myself of quite clearly by watching Deep Blue Sea last night.
Fake sharks, yes, traumetized Alex, yes.
Kept falling halfway asleep and then imagining that my bed was on water. Bad.
