Swish, swish, snap!
May. 26th, 2002 05:46 pmCleaned out some more comics, this time the remainder of my Generation X, Lodoss war and the Witchblade dominatrix issue. Yup, that's right. Every female super hero, heck, why stop there, every super hero, ought to have a dominatrix issue.
The premise is basically that one of Irons's flunkeys is seeing a girl with a whip and hands the witchblade over to her before Sara can get it. And that's basically it. So yeah, not exactly deep stuff, though her witchblade manifestation is pretty cool, all black metal-y. But no. I feel no need to own this issue.
And you know? I think this might not be the only bondage themed Witchblade either, isn't there some crossover where Sara spends most of the time flogging Jackie (aka. the Darkness). Heh. Those wacky people over at Top Cow.
Still, even if my enthusiasm for the comic itself and all of it's branches may be waning (haven't touched the motherload yet, saving it for a long rainy weekend), I am looking forward to the second season of the tv series. In a rare occurrence, I actually like tv Sara better than comic Sara, kicking ass, minus the doll clothes.
Hmmm. Maybe I still have that crossover...
