Gah. My last beading needle has gone missing. And I sort of spaced the neck of the thing wrong. or at least. I might've. But gah! Those evil tiny needles!

And the saddest thing is that you know it exists somewhere underfoot. So one ends up crawing on hands and knees for a while, fingers giving the carpet a good scratch on the vaguest hope that you'll feel a prick...

The undoing of hours and hours of work is also being contemplated. I've always found it part of artistitc frustration, an inherient desire to destroy the creation.
There's a practical side too of course. I wonder that if I change the number of spacer beads from to three from four that the curve of the neckline might happen more naturally. At the moment the length that's sitting on the chair next to me is the perfect size for a cuff. Only in the collar pattern it becomes more of a shirt cuff and the feeling against my skin is something like hard, cool lace.
That's one of the reasons that I love sead beads. They're small enough that when joined together are like both beads and cloth and carry some of the romance of both.

Poor dumb girl.
