Jennifer Crusie's website has posted her Buffy essay (specifically, its about Buffy's romances) and I think its a very interesting read. She is definitely Buffy/Spike sympathetic (which, I think, fits given the relationships in her books. None are quite that dark, but many - most? of them are shaded with varying degrees of comparable antagonism), but not Angel unsympathetic and I thought that the essay had some nice conclusions.
